decodeFromUrlQuery

Deprecated

Double-decodes parameters that are already decoded

Replace with

import at.asitplus.openid.decode
decode<T>()

Deserializes already-decoded FormParameters into T, decoding percent-encoding once more.

Deprecated because its receiver is decoded in nearly all call sites (e.g. io.ktor.http.Url.parameters), so that this decodes a second time and mangles values containing %. Use at.asitplus.openid.decode for parameters that are already decoded, or at.asitplus.openid.decodeFromQuery to get them from a URL in the first place.

Deprecated

POST body and URL query share one encoding

Replace with

import at.asitplus.openid.decodeFromFormUrlEncoded
decodeFromFormUrlEncoded<T>()

Deserializes a percent-encoded URL query into T.

Deprecated because the name invites passing a complete URL, of which the first parameter would then silently be dropped: use at.asitplus.openid.decodeFromQuery for a URL, and at.asitplus.openid.decodeFromFormUrlEncoded for a bare query string.
